The first round of ECS Pinnacle Cup matches has been revealed by the tournament organizer.

ECS's Pinnacle Cups are ready to get underway as 32 teams in Europe and North America will be fighting to get the best possible seeding in their respective regions to get invited to ECS Season 8's weekly cups.

The tournaments, one in North America and one in Europe, will a feature Swiss stages with all matches played to the best of three maps. The games will be open to being broadcasted by the community on Caffeine, where ECS will broadcast their Community Caster Challenge.

The Pinnacle Cups will start on September 11th and last three days, running through the 13th, with the matches in Europe starting at 18:00 and the North American matches starting at 00:00 .

Some of the most interesting openers in Europe will feature HEROIC going up against Windigo or Heretics facing off against Sprout, with other teams in contention being the likes of CR4ZY, GamerLegion, or BIG.

Sharks will be rolling out their new lineup in North America, with Argentine duo Ignacio "⁠meyern⁠" Meyer and Luca "⁠Luken⁠" Nadotti, when they face off against Mythic in their opener. ATK will also be sporting a new roster with Johnny "⁠JT⁠" Theodosiou and coach Tiaan "⁠T.c⁠" Coertzen spearheading the project with an American roster featuring Ricky "⁠floppy⁠" Kemery, Ian "⁠motm⁠" Hardy, and Josh "⁠oSee⁠" Ohm, who will face off against RBG in their first match.
